I am an athletic self-motivated competitor that works hard on my own away from the field. I am eager to learn, advance my skillset, and contribute to a competitive program that is committed to academic success. My favorite position is short-stop. I am a switch hitter, a leading slapper, and my recent home to first base time was 2.55.
As a sophmore, I was a short-stop honorable mention, and at the 2013 NAFA Nationals 16 Skills Contest Home-to-Home Sprint I took First Place. I also participated in the 2014 18U Gold All-star Game in Aurora, Colorado as a Short-stop. I started varsity every year, and as a sophmore, I was the varsity relief (second) pitcher. My junior year I received First Team All-Wesco as a utility player (short-stop and pitcher) and as a senior I was voted First Team All-Wesco as a center fielder..
Prior to my commitment as a one sport athlete, I played basketball and ran track. As a freshman in high school, I broke the all-time vertical jump record. In middle school, I was the female Track MVP with a .900 Win-Ratio; Regionals 3rd Place 100 Meters; 2nd Place 400 Meters; and 1st Place 100 Relay as an eigth grader. In seventh grade, I had a .800 Win-Ratio; Regionals 3rd Place 100 Meters; 2nd Place 400 Meters; and 1st Place 100 Relay.
My goaI is to continue playing softball at a university, and contribute towards a program that has post-season and eventually national championship aspirations.
